Hello people
I have been slightly busy today, although nowhere near as busy as the hubby. I have unblocked the vaccum cleaner so that it now picks up the muck, then I did the lounge, hall and stairs. Mind you before we could get to vac stage there was a lot of clearing up to do, the kids treat the floor of the lounge as a rubbish bin and wash basket! It meant we found out where all their socks are at least!
All the sofa covers have been through the wash, I have dusted, vaccumed and tidied up, and hubby has washed the carpet in lounge and hall. He went on to clean the windows and cut the grass! I don't know what's come over him!
The lounge looks so much better now and as the kids have been hiding in their rooms avoiding the work, they will not be going on the Wii or the PS. I have a dining table that is clutter free, so I can eat my meals at the table rather than on a tray on my lap, which usually leads to me throwing most of my food down my ample bosom! I need lots of in-wash stain remover!
The BF has been at work today, but he was done for 2pm, bit of a short day that!
Kids moaning and wanting to go on the Wii, ha, not happening!!
Dog immediately took up residence on my clean sofa, and was sharply removed.
People opposite (we have nice view of side of their house) would appear to be having many friends over, as they are blocking the road with their cars, how stupid to park so the road is blocked.
We are having an Indian takeaway for tea tonight, we deserve it, and it was Hubby's birthday this week, so a treat is called for.
Did I mention that I now smell of furniture polish, toilet cleaner and body shop cocoa butter hand cream?? Interesting combination I can tell you.
I have nearly finished the cardigan I started knitting a week last Thursday, I think I need one more ball of wool though, so I shall have to email the wool shop to see if they stock the right stuff, otherwise it will be a trip to York again! That is where I bought the wool in the first place.
The xmas decs have finally been launched into the loft, along with the tree.
I haven't heard from the doc, he promised to bring me a russian doll back but I think myself he didn't bother!
I was looking at books for work on the net last night, I found some quite good ones but they are nearly £100 each, so I won't be bothering.
I need something to eat now, so I fancy some toast,
see ya later
